In 1994 Taika Oyata tested the first group of students into the Shin Shu Ho Ryu . The members of the Shin Shu Ho are a dedicated group of senior students that have devoted years of training with Taika Oyata. These select few are students that Taika believes will carry on the his art and traditions in the future. Kyoshi Cline currently holds the rank of 7th Dan in Shin Shu Ho.
